Grags – Silvertip Canyon

Silvertip Canyon

For all routes not shown on this page, refer to the guide book “Revelstoke Rocks”.

Silvertip Canyon is a sport crag located in Mount Revelstoke National Park. The area offers excellent climbs, averaging 20 to 25 meters in height, on steep and superb rock. The Silvertip is a gem with a beautiful setting. Birch trees dot the canyon that sports a small spring stream, so leave your huge water bottle at home. Troy Kirwan found this incredible spot in 2002, as he flew over this area with his helicopter. Troy became enthusiastic about this canyon and bolted the first route, Carnivore. Although all routes are hard, the Silvertip Canyon offers some of the best climbing in the Revelstoke area, and is an excellent destination if you want to escape from the heat of the mid summer months.
